Sprinkler and drip installation, repair and seasonal tune-ups that stop waste and dry spots — in San Francisco and all around it.
A sprinkler system you never think about is either working perfectly or it's quietly wasting water in a spot you've stopped noticing. A head that sticks half-open, a line that leaks underground, a zone that runs twenty minutes longer than it needs to — none of it is dramatic, it just shows up on the water bill and in the dry, brown patches that never quite green back up. La Bendición Lawn installs new systems, repairs the ones that are already leaking or missing spots, and does the seasonal tune-ups that catch problems before they turn into a dead lawn.
Water in the Bay Area isn't cheap, and it's watched closely in every one of the cities we work — San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland and San Rafael. A system that's actually tuned to your yard, with drip lines converted in wherever they make more sense than spray heads, pays for the visit in what it stops wasting.
Installation starts with mapping the yard into zones that make sense — sun versus shade, lawn versus beds — because a system that waters everything the same way is already wasting water somewhere. Beds and narrow strips usually do better on drip line than spray, since drip puts water at the root instead of on the leaves and the sidewalk. Repairs cover broken or clogged heads, leaks in the line, valves that stick open or won't open at all, and controllers set wrong for the season.
A seasonal tune-up is the cheap protection most people skip: walking every zone, checking each head's coverage and pattern, adjusting run times for the season, and catching a slow leak before it becomes a wet spot and a dead patch six feet away. Good sprinkler work is invisible in the best way — even coverage, no runoff onto the sidewalk, and a controller set so you never have to think about it again until the season changes.
We check each head's coverage, look for leaks and dead spots, and see where drip would work better than spray.
You get a number before anything gets dug up or replaced, based on what the yard actually needs.
Lines, heads, valves and drip conversions get put in or fixed zone by zone, with as little digging as the job allows.
The controller gets set for the season and we run every zone in front of you before we leave.
The Bay Area is not one climate — a fog-belt yard in Daly City, a sunny Oakland hillside and a Marin property under fire-safety rules each need different care, and we work in all three.
